Stretching For Cyclists

Riding a bike is great way to get outside, get some exercise, and fresh air. If you are new to riding or are spending more time on your bike, you may be feeling some muscle tightness from the “hunched over” repetitive posture. Stretching and mobility exercises performed directly after riding are important to rebalance the body’s muscular system and to ease any repetitive strain put on the joints used while riding your bike.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad


  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • ¾ c. Melted margarine
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 6 oz. strawberry jello
  • 2 (10 oz.) strawberries


  • Grease 9 x 13-in pan; Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 1st layer: Mix pretzels, sugar, and melted margarine and press into pain. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Let cool.
  • 2nd layer: Cream together 1 cup sugar and cream cheese, fold in Cool Whip. Spread over 1st layer.
