A seasoned Physical Therapist (PT) and Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC), Dean Plafcan has been a dedicated part-time contractor with PSUICA for many years. Now, he is fully committed to serving the student-athletes of Penn State as a full-time therapist with Atlas Therapy. Dean's extensive experience and dedication to quality care make him an invaluable asset to our team.
A distinguished rehabilitation specialist with a Ph.D. in Health Education from The Pennsylvania State University, George Salvaterra brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in sports medicine and athletic training. His roles included Head Football Trainer and Athletic Administrator at the Pennsylvania State University and Bloomsburg University. George's scholarly contributions and practical expertise ensure exceptional care for our athletes.
